Everything is wonderful here. It's my favorite place for desserts. I have moved out of the area, but every time I am in Essexville I stop in for something sweet. I have not found another bakery that even comes close to their level of perfection.

Couldn't buy just one! Everything is delicious and beautiful presentation. Also gluten free available.

This was the the best Birthday cake I have ever had. It was a carrot cake. I have turned 53, which equates to at least 53 birthday cakes... and I MUST SAY that no way on the planet ever was a cake so PERFECT, without a doubt these CHEFS are old school, the REAL DEAL!!! The Best in the TRI CITIES without a doubt!!! Remember, you get what you pay for!For the little bit extra you will taste and see the difference! I always get the cake for special occasions, cake is very light, love the frosting, no very heavy but so much flavour. All cookies and pastries is one the best in tricity. I wish they have place in saginaw. travel from saginaw township to essexville which is about 40 min drive , all worth it.

Having some time to burn on a Tuesday morning, I came here with my wife and mother. We had heard about this bakery on Woodside, in an area of Greater Bay City that we hardly ever come to... now we're definitely coming back. There is a variety of expertly crafted goods for display -- from danish, to macaroons, to breads, cakes and cookies... even donuts. All looked delicious. The cherry and cheese danishes were very good: they reminded me of the closed 'Old World Bakery' in south Bay City. This type of danish might look similar to the monstrosities in a grocery store; however, the flavor and texture is a completely different experience. The 'Irish Soda Bread' was also very good. It had a slight caraway seed flavor and plump golden raisons -- it was even better toasted with butter. Once again... I will definitely return.

Worst place ever messed my cake all up gave the a second chance do another cake and this one was wrong again n had to have them re write. They don't listen and make cakes how they want never give them anther chance again

The moment I walked into Petit Four Pastry, I knew I was in the right place! I have searched for four (4) years for a place that makes a g👀d Carrot 🥕 Cake 🍰! Well the search is over! I found you! I drove from Southgate MI a 138 miles, and I’m impressed and so was everyone at the party 🎉 🎊🎈! The Homemade Peanut 🥜 Butter, Oatmeal & Raisins, White with a large Chocolate 🍫 drop, C👀kies, and Cinnamon Buns with Cream Cheese Frosting, I purchased in addition to that Great 👍 Carrot 🥕 Cake 🍰. Everything was perfect 👌 to the taste palette and eye appealing! Plus I had the pleasant experience of Chris’s helpful and friendly personality! Essexville and the Bay City 🌃 Area you don’t know what a gem 💎 you have here! EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!Oh and the Baked Goods are GREAT ALSO! 😂🤣!

Petit Four Pastry is the best bakery I have ever delt with. We used them for the desert for my daughters wedding shower and for her wedding cake. We are more than pleased! Everything tasted awesome and looked beautiful! I recommend them for everything.

Great pastries and heat at home food.

Do not let the building fool you. We had the carrot cake, this was very good, moist balanced flavor and not over sweet. The peanut butter cookies we great as well. I highly recommend this bakery.

Everything is always amazing. I like that they keep their best sellers and switch it up with a few new ones. I recommend their sticky buns.

The cupcakes they baked for my daughter-in-laws bridal shower were spectacular. Perfect in every way. The cake moist the butter cream frosting out of this world, the decorations a work of art! If I could I would give you even higher marks! The staff is great!

Small family owned bakery specializing in high end pastry. Both chefs are from Europe, and use recipes from their homeland. Doughnuts are $1.25 apiece, but are huge. Family favorite is their pillow-like cinnamon rolls. Specialty pastries are made fresh every day. Half sheet cake are made to order, and a bit pricey for the area, but if you want a quality product that is obviously not from a box store, this is where to go. They also make wedding cakes. They usually have a soup and sandwich available for lunch as well.

They did our wedding cake. It came out exactly as we imagined it. It tasted even better than it looked!The owner will talk your ear off, but she is adorable and clearly enjoys her work.Buy one of their quiches if they have them, you will love it!

Excellent customer service, friendly, helpful, quality goods. I originally made plans to order a cake for a bridal shower in March— that had to be cancelled due to Covid. Come June, Louise and her team were able to accommodate me and create pretty much the same cake I had been wanting: tiered, semi-naked with a custard/pudding filling and vanilla buttercream. Top-notch!

I'm not a big pastry eater but recently my wife brought a piece of their "Celebration" cake. It was amazing. We looked them up and went to see for ourselves. I'm hooked! If you want something that is elegant and good quality, go there. It is not just a sugar fix.

Best pastry shop in the region

Great pastries, but the lunch is lacking. Photos they send out in weekly emails for the specials doesn't look like what you end up getting. False advertising.
